Love this place! There is nothing better than walking up to a restaurant and being able to smell the delicious food before you get there

Great breakfast and lunch spot. Huge portions and fast service. They have tons of creative menu items. Fritters, salads, sandwiches, burgers, catfish, and even the beans and cornbread are all to die for. The grill on the hill is a great south side local spot.

Working down the street I've eaten here several times. I've literally never had bad service, the staff is incredibly pleasant, and the food is great. I've tried several of their meals. The burgers are amazing, my favorite is the Memphis Burger. The fries for me lack crunch, but the tots are a great secondary option. Get a burger and a soda, tip your waitress because she's working hard, and enjoy a great meal!

I really enjoyed my first experience at Grill on the Hill! I had no clue about its historic significance but it definitely took me back upon entering. It's very much a classic diner but also reminded me of Bunny's Onion Burgers, not sure why. Anyway, I had the chicken fried steak sandwich with tots and it was delicious! I couldn't eat all of it since the patty was pretty large but it was great for the price. The meal was only about $7-$8 and very good quality. The service was also great. You order at the counter but they bring your food and refill your drinks for you as needed. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. I'd love to come back and try more of their menu!

The chicken fried steak was large but everything had little flavor and I kept getting salt bombed.

This is my favorite place to eat on the southside of OKC. Sometimes I will make excuses for reasons to be in this area around lunchtime so I can come in and eat a chicken sandwich with Rory and Norma. I love their lunch and their breakfast is delicious also. I always get the chicken sandwich with spicy fries. I always consider eating something else but, why? It is perfect! The place is always busy around lunch, but the service is excellent and fast. If you save room try the fritters! Yummy!

Another great Oklahoma City joint! I come here often for the spicy catfish sandwich. This place is all about home cooking. The catfish is cooked to order so don't get in a big hurry. The dining area is big enough you can always find a seat. Parking is tough right at noon. Better get there before noon if you want some nanner puddin!

This place is out of the way but totally worth it. The food, service, and value were all terrific! I highly recommend this place for a great breakfast.

Best catfish in town. Nice big filet fried perfectly. Thursday you get your drink included for around 8 dollars. They also have a hamburger patty served over fries and covered in brown gravy. Skip the meatloaf and fish tacos. Side dishes are taste canned and not seasoned at that. Opt for the side salad. Desserts are from Sams.Wait staff and owners are very personable and efficient
